We are seeking a highly strategic and innovative Head of Marketing, for an initial 6 month fixed term contract, to lead and evolve our brand strategy across a growing Build to Rent portfolio. This is a pivotal leadership role focused on elevating brand awareness, driving occupancy and revenue, and delivering a seamless and exceptional renting experience.
Working closely with operations, leasing, property, and digital teams, you will ensure marketing initiatives are fully aligned across the portfolio and executed to the highest standard.
The RoleAs Head of Marketing, you will define and deliver a dynamic, data led marketing strategy that strengthens brand positioning and supports the successful launch and ongoing performance of our communities.
You will act as brand guardian, ensuring consistency, creativity, and commercial effectiveness across all marketing activity.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, lead, and implement comprehensive marketing strategies across the full portfolio
- Own and manage the overall marketing budget, forecasting spend for current and upcoming communities and ensuring financial governance (including PO and invoice management)
- Define brand positioning, messaging, and channel strategy to build awareness and drive demand
- Oversee the creation and delivery of all marketing collateral including print, out-of home, digital assets, and advertising campaigns
- Collaborate with wider group marketing teams to align with overarching brand and development strategies
- Build strong internal stakeholder relationships to ensure a cohesive and streamlined branding approach
- Brief and manage external agencies to deliver high-quality marketing tools to support leasing activity (photography, videography, brochures, digital and OOH advertising)
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to maintain a forward thinking and agile marketing approach
- Analyse data insights to optimise spend, maximise ROI, and continuously improve campaign performance
- Lead and develop the Marketing Manager, setting clear KPIs and supporting professional growth
- Work alongside furniture and design partners to ensure show apartments align with brand standards
- Oversee key delivery milestones as part of a broader portfolio execution plan
- Partner with the digital function to manage media schedules and react dynamically to performance data
- Support on site management teams with marketing collateral and brand guidance
- Conduct regular community visits to ensure brand standards are upheld and collateral is executed flawlessly
- Act as the ultimate brand guardian, ensuring brand protocols are implemented consistently across all teams
- Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role, ideally within property, residential, hospitality, or a related sector
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing significant budgets
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate insight into action
- Data driven mindset with a strong focus on performance and ROI
- Experienced in agency management and multi channel campaign delivery
- Confident stakeholder manager with excellent communication skills
- Passionate about brand building and customer experience
- Highly organised, detail oriented, and comfortable operating across multiple projects simultaneously
