Head of ICT (Interim)

Our client - Local Government - is seeking an experienced Head of ICT on an interim basis while the substantive postholder focuses on wider LGR duties. You'll provide day-to-day leadership and stability across the ICT function, with two direct reports and oversight of a small team.

Key skills/experience:

• Proven local government IT/ICT leadership experience is essential
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary technical teams
• Solid grounding in public sector procurement
• Confident providing steady leadership and day-to-day team management including performance monitoring and reporting
• Comfortable maintaining BAU service delivery during a period of organisational change

The role offers hybrid working and is to run until end of March 2027.
