Head of HR Policy

We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR leader to join the University of Cambridge as Head of HR Policy. This is a senior role responsible for leading the development and delivery of the University's HR policy framework, alongside key strategic projects and cultural change programmes.

What you will be doing- Leading the development and continuous improvement of HR policy across the University
- Providing expert advice on complex policy, change and employment matters
- Leading engagement and negotiation with trade unions
- Overseeing strategic HR projects and programmes
- Using data and insight to inform policy and decision making
- Leading and developing a high performing HR Policy team
- Significant senior level HR experience in a complex, unionised organisation
- Strong track record of developing and implementing HR policy and strategic initiatives
- Experience leading cultural change and influencing at senior level
- Excellent relationship building, communication and analytical skills
- Strong understanding of employment law and industrial relations
- Experience managing and developing teams
