Job Description

TTM Healthcare are proud to partner with our client Corlann to recruit for a Permanent Grade VIII Head of HR Role in Limerick.

Location: Limerick

Position: Grade VIII (Head of HR)

Hours:
Full time, Mon-Fri, 9-5 (35 hours a week)

Pay: €83,911 to €101,207 per annum depending on previous relevant public sector experience

Contract: Permanent

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the regional Human Resources function, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and employment legislation.
  • Partner with the Senior Management Team to support organisational strategy, workforce planning, and change management initiatives.
  • Oversee recruitment, selection, performance management, succession planning, and employee development activities.
  • Manage employee and industrial relations matters, including engagement with Trade Unions, IBEC, and the HSE.
  • Ensure effective implementation of HR policies and procedures, including Dignity at Work, Attendance Management, Grievance, Disciplinary, and Vetting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with Irish and European employment legislation, HIQA requirements, and Health and Safety standards.
  • Manage the regional HR budget and ensure effective use of resources.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the HR team to deliver high-quality HR services.
Essential Criteria
  • Level 8 Degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Full, clean driving licence.
  • Minimum of three years' senior Human Resources leadership experience within a large, complex organisation.
  • Proven experience managing and developing teams.
  • Experience negotiating with staff and Trade Unions.
  • Experience leading organisational change initiatives.
  • Thorough knowledge of Irish and European employment legislation.
  • Strong understanding of employee and industrial relations.
  • Experience with budgeting and financial management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
