MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with an organisation based in Armagh who are looking to add a Head of HR to their team on a full-time permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of their journey of growth, driving people strategy and organisational development from the front.

The role:

As Head of HR, you will report into the senior leadership team and play a key role in shaping and executing the people agenda. You'll be responsible for leading and developing an HR team, supporting a diverse workforce across the organisation.

The main responsibilities:

• Lead the HR function, managing a team of HR Generalists.

• Develop and implement a people strategy aligned to business goals.

• Drive continuous improvement in HR practices, policies, and procedures.

• Lead on employee relations, workforce planning, performance management, and talent development.

• Act as a strategic partner to operational leaders, providing insight and challenge.

• Ensure compliance with employment law, health & safety, and regulatory requirements.

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.

The ideal candidate:

• Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

• Strong people management experience with the ability to lead and inspire a team.

• In-depth understanding of NI legislation with practical implementation experience.

• Commercially minded with a pragmatic approach to HR delivery.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• CIPD qualified (Level 7 preferred) or equivalent experience.
