At Roche, the Head of Health Economics & Outcomes leads the Market Access group in the UK, focusing on gaining reimbursement for medicines and shaping reimbursement systems.
Responsibilities- Lead the UK Health Economics team, ensuring the demonstration of value through high standard health economics.
- Sign off on reimbursement dossiers and develop strategies to engage key stakeholders and pan industry relationships.
- Act as a visionary, architect, catalyst, and coach, inspiring and fostering a culture of growth and accountability across the chapter.
- Collaborate across functions to remove silos, duplicate work, and support the common "North Star."
- Champion system transformation to ensure healthcare systems are fit for purpose both in the UK and globally.
- Advocate resources and lead strategic planning to meet current and future demands.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, industry codes and Roche's Code of Conduct, placing patients at the centre of all actions.
- Participate in squad and global activities as required.
- Maintain a fixed onsite presence at the Welwyn office as part of a hybrid work structure.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Health Economics or a related discipline.
- Strong track record in Health Economics/Outcomes Research, with significant knowledge of the UK health system.
- Ability to collaborate locally and globally.
- Strategic and visionary leadership, inclusive of coaching and mentoring capabilities.
- Experience in developing long term strategy and overseeing resource planning.
The role is based onsite at the Welwyn, United Kingdom office. The team follows a hybrid work structure requiring a fixed number of onsite days per week.
