The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a proven track record in private markets asset management and a deep understanding of global investment and marketing trends. This strategic thinker is passionate about private markets and committed to client success.# Key Responsibilities Developing and executing a strategic global private markets marketing plan Develop and execute global marketing strategies to promote Franklin Templeton's private markets investment solutions, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business objectives Lead a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance and direction to ensure the creation of compelling and consistent marketing materials across all regions Own and drive messaging and storytelling of our private markets solutions, ensuring consistency across distribution teams and differentiated go-to-market positioning Collaborate with product development and investment teams to understand and articulate the distinct value propositions of Franklin Templeton's private markets offerings Partner with regional marketing leaders to identify and manage budget opportunities, ensuring efficient allocation and tracking of resources Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities and competitive insights, and use this data to inform marketing strategies and campaigns Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including distribution partners, to enhance the visibility and appeal of Franklin Templeton's private markets solutions Manage the development and implementation of digital marketing initiatives, leveraging advanced technology to reach and engage target audiences effectively Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in all marketing activities, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, using analytics to optimize strategies and improve ROI Stay informed about industry developments and best practices, continuously innovating to maintain Franklin Templeton's competitive edge in the private markets space A focus on collaboration across the organization Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, regional marketing and product development to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach. Align with sales and strategic account teams to create the right messages and content to be leveraged in market, with ongoing connectivity as to how resources are being used and how we can continue to evolve. Collaborate with sales, product and training teams to refine the messaging and positioning of private market solutions through the development of message boxes, training content and high-impact editorial positioning. Serve as a subject-matter expert on private markets for broader global marketing initiatives Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Franklin Templeton investment, distribution, sales and marketing teams and strategic partner firms to help achieve our content, messaging and promotional goals. Facilitate and lead regular meetings between marketing and distribution partners to ensure alignment and collaboration. Campaign and content development and deployment Lead the development and execution of product and thematic campaigns supportive of key priorities across global marketing teams, including surround sound campaigns in support of product launches, "always-on" nurture campaigns, and product-update virtual events. Employ a data-driven approach for all marketing campaigns and share actionable insights with our sales partners. Identify opportunities to grow the business through marketing-led initiatives that engage a target audience through lead nurturing. Ensure the team's use of a comprehensive marketing brief process, bringing together colleagues across all marketing functions to determine how best to go to market as quickly and effectively as possible, always being clear as to the intended goal and how best to measure success.# Ideal qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 8+ years' experience in financial services industry, preferably in sales or marketing Experience working for a private markets asset management firm or division Experience working effectively with global teams Proven subject-matter experience in private market investment solutions and regional private markets product structures Series 7 and 63 desired.
