We have an excellent contract job opportunity for Head of Global Benefits for one of our leading clients.
Role Purpose
Manages all global benefit and mobility activities. This role will work closely with the wider team and other HR stakeholders/business leaders to design and implement leading client benefits offerings and mobility policies on a global basis, ensuring compliance with existing legislation and superior colleague experience.
Contract duration - 12 months
Location - Waterside (UB7 0GB) (Hybrid working pattern ideally 3 days from office)
Pay - Flexible (inside IR35)
Accountability
- Provides suitable benefits and mobility recommendations/solutions to meet diverse business and colleague needs
- Working closely with the Head of Reward Delivery, Director of Reward and the Reward change team to drive total reward and the value of benefits, ensuring that key change opportunities are capitalised upon and outcomes Embedded.
- Ensures quality delivery of annual benefit renewal processes by evaluating and analysing the renewal as presented by the vendors and benefits brokers. Coordination, planning, and communication of annual enrolment globally.
- Oversees the day-to-day administration of all global benefit and mobility programmes, including benefit election, eligibility, and selection. Oversees vendor reconciliation and vendor management.
- Communicates with third-party services to negotiate benefit plans and resolve benefit-related issues. Manage relationships with key vendors and third parties, including benefits brokers.
- Works closely with brokers and legal counsel on the relevant benefit documentation and legal review/approval
- Ensures colleagues are assisted with benefit questions in an efficient and timely manner.
- Develops the internal communications for global benefits and mobility, including delivery of communication programmes to support managers, executives, leaders, and employees throughout the year
- Ensures the appropriate functionality and data integrity of benefits systems, focusing on efficient utilisation and ensuring continuous improvements are made on a consistent basis
- Drives the implementation of digital enhancements and the potential impact of those plans on current and future benefits system functionality. Provides direction to the team on performing group data updates, exports, imports, clean-ups, and research/report on any data discrepancies, work with the HR team and vendors to resolve as appropriate.
Skills/capabilities
- Knowledge of all local regulations and compliance requirements related to benefits
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data.
- Excellent stakeholder skills, including understanding/balancing business and colleague needs, offering solutions, and following up to ensure success.
- Initiative and drive to continuously improve processes and systems.
- Solid project management skills, including attention to detail, highly organised.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in teams and with individuals at all levels within business; understanding of cultural contexts and international jurisdictions
- Experience managing several priorities and demonstrating independent thinking
- Extensive knowledge of benefits process, procedures and policies
- Strong facilitation and communication skills

Qualifications/experience
- Ideally, a university degree in a relevant subject
- Professional Qualification (or part qualified) CIPD.
- Experience of designing and delivering global benefits programmes
- Experience of influencing and engaging complex stakeholder groups, including trade unions
- Ability and willingness to contribute to the broader team and work as an effective team member
- Previous experience of benefits, including insurance, multinational pooling policies
- Experience of Reward and People policies
