Job Description
Head of FP&A - Salary £80k £85k + bonus - Warrington (on site) 
Head of FP&A - senior commercial finance leader at a double digit growth retail business founded by passionate entrepreneurs. This role shapes the financial future of a rapidly expanding business.
What you'll do- Lead the design and delivery of annual budgets, quarterly reforecasts and long term financial models that align with business strategy.
- Oversee trading, margin and performance reporting on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis while delivering actionable insights.
- Present concise analysis to Senior Leadership, highlighting trends, risks, opportunities and supporting board level reporting.
- Serve as the primary financial partner for key business areas - Product, Merchandising, Marketing and Operations.
- Collaborate with Marketing to forecast spend, measure ROI and optimise campaign performance.
- Partner with Merchandising to manage stock holdings, freight costs and working capital efficiency.
- Conduct margin analysis by product line, category and channel, optimising pricing strategies and informing promotional activity.
- Support pricing decisions balancing volume growth with profitability objectives.
- Manage overheads effectively while maintaining operational agility during change or expansion.
- Act as finance lead on major strategic projects such as international expansion, evaluating business cases for ROI alignment.
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with significant post qualified experience in commercial finance roles, ideally within retail.
- Track record influencing strategic outcomes through robust financial planning processes.
- Advanced analytical skills, complex modelling capabilities and large data translation into business insights.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and excellent communication skills.
- Highly commercial mindset with proven success improving profitability through cost management or revenue optimisation.
- Experience leading high performing teams, mentoring development and fostering curiosity and accountability.
- Comfortable operating in dynamic environments with agility and proactive problem solving.
- Proven cross functional collaboration, especially with marketing or merchandising functions to drive spend efficiency.
