Your new company
A public sector organisation working closely with the NHS using research to improve diagnoses and treatment plans. Based in Canary Wharf, you will be expected to work from the office two days per week.
If you are immediately available or have a short/negotiable notice period, we will be particularly eager to hear from you.
Your new role
- Serve as the key technical finance partner to senior leadership, providing expert advice on financial assurance, governance and compliance.
- Lead a dedicated team responsible for overseeing financial processes and controls, and fulfilling responsibilities in accordance with FRS102/IFRS
- Manage key statutory duties, including financial accounts and audit
- Manage regulatory finance duties, including tax and supplier payments
- Provide advice on changes to financial systems and processes, efficiently using technology in the role
- Full ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent full accountancy qualification
- Proven leadership and management experience
- Strong financial and technical expertise in accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance standards (including FRS102/IFRS), with the ability to analyse complex financial data and implement effective control measures for compliance and governance.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Experience from a relevant sector (public sector, medical, pharmaceutical) would be beneficial.
