Head of Factory Controlling

As a member of the Digital Grid Finance Team, you will lead all controlling-related topics for setting up the panel assembly in Newcastle, UK, working closely with colleagues from Production, Testing, Logistics, and Project Management. You will report to the Head of Finance for Europe at Digital Grid. This role offers a comprehensive overview of establishing the company's first assembly unit and presents ongoing opportunities for learning and development.
What You Bring- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of professional experience in factory controlling
- Proficiency in SAP and MS Office
- Strong interpersonal skills, including communication, teamwork, and mindfulness
- Fluent English; additional languages are a plus
- Managing controlling functions such as cost center controlling, inventory analysis, trending, investment projects, and internal controls
- Monthly reporting of financial key figures and overseeing financial planning and forecasting
- Handling operational topics related to order management
- Managing special areas like inventory, hedging, and guarantees
- Implementing and monitoring productivity measures to enhance controlling outcomes
- Driving digitalization in controlling and developing as an SAP key user, especially in the upcoming S4E Unify project (new SAP implementation)
