Your role purpose

The Head of Fabrics and Garments is responsible for leading and managing all fabric-related projects to develop and integrate this new business area at Recover, acting as the primary liaison with suppliers (fabrics/garments manufacturers, supply chain, ) and customers and ensures effective coordination across internal departments such as production, quality, logistics, tech solutions, finance and legal contract follow-ups. This role requires a strong understanding of the business, fabrics products and their development/production, fabrics sales strategy, market trends, while monitoring sales and project performance.


Your responsabilities

  • Project Leadership: Project plans, timelines/milestones, progress reports, meeting cadence, decision memos, and project evaluations
  • Customer Relations: Deliverables: Customer feedback reports, satisfaction surveys, and customized product/service solutions
  • Key Stakeholder Relations: Regular communication updates, meeting minutes, issue resolution logs, and partnership agreements
  • Sales Support and Market Strategy: Market analysis reports, strategic sales plans, and performance metrics
  • Cross-Department Coordination: Coordination meeting agendas, collaboration reports, and integrated project plans
  • Business Performance: Business performance reviews, financial analysis reports, and strategic recommendations


Work Experience Requirements

  • Fabrics/Garments experience: More than 5 years' experience with fabrics buying at fashion brands and/or development of fabrics/garments products, with proven track record of solid understanding of technical as well as commercial aspects
  • Project Leadership: proven track on at least 5 years on a similar role leading complex projects, within textile and fabrics industry
  • Stakeholder Management: more than 5 years' experience in maintaining strong relationships with fabrics suppliers, partners, customers
  • Sales Strategy and Support: Experience in supporting sales teams with strategic insights including concrete experience and networks with fashion brands (3+ years)
  • Industry: Proven at least 5 years' experience in fashion, apparel and textile manufacturing companies in a leadership role
  • Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams


Competencies required

  • Project Leadership: Proven experience in leading business and/or technical projects in related areas in the textiles or fabrics industry
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of fabrics, fashion and brand industry
  • Product Development: Good process and technical understanding of developing and producing fabrics and garments
  • Market Strategy: Knowledge of market trends and the ability to develop effective market strategies
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with suppliers, customers, and teams
  • Customer Engagement: Experience in building and managing customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: Agility and creativity to create solutions with clear execution- and impact orientation


Other requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree: In Textile Engineering, Fashion Design, Apparel Production, or a related field
  • Advanced Degrees (Optional): Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or a specialized degree in Textile Management can be advantageous

The role of the Fabrics Department is to build, establish, and develop the newly created Fabrics Business, ensure its profitability, and integrate it into our core business operations in the short term.
