Job Description
Overview

The Cavendish Education Trust is recruiting a Head of Estates. The role is full time, permanent and 37 hours per week. The working pattern is Monday to Thursday 8am-4pm and Friday 8am-3.30pm. The position is based at Cavendish School but the successful candidate will regularly visit Roselands Infants School and Stafford Junior School.

Salary: Single Status Grade 11 (£40,109-£42,899). Annual leave entitlement per year. The role is 52 weeks per year.

Responsibilities
  • Lead on the Trust's building projects including planning and development to enhance premises across all schools.
  • Lead on Health and Safety for the Trust and ensure that all statutory and compliance requirements are met across the schools.
  • Manage the site staff across all school sites and be a valued team player.
  • Act as an excellent communicator and negotiator, liaising with school staff and contractors.
  • Lead on contractual services, including grounds maintenance, and be the Trust's lead on environment and sustainability plans.
Qualifications & Requirements

Applicants must have experience in estate management, building projects and health and safety. Candidates must be able to work independently and as part of a team. A commitment to safeguarding and a willingness to undertake an Enhanced DBS check are required.
