As the Head of Energy and Decarbonisation, you will oversee and lead projects through the full lifecycle, from initial audits and funding applications to construction verification and post completion performance validation. You will be responsible for managing and developing a high performing energy engineering team, ensuring the successful delivery of decarbonisation initiatives while collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders.

The Role- Lead Investment Grade Audits (IGAs), Proposals (IGPs), and Heat Decarbonisation Plans (HDP)
- Oversee funding applications, including Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS)
- Manage and develop energy engineering teams through all project phases
- Supervise energy audits, feasibility studies, and carbon savings calculations
- Coordinate internal and external resources for efficient project delivery
- Engage with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to resolve issues
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and energy policies
- Degree in Energy Engineering or related discipline (Chartered Engineer preferred)
- Extensive experience in energy performance contracting or consulting
- Proven leadership in managing teams and complex projects
- Expertise in energy audits, decarbonisation strategies, and energy systems
- Strong skills in financial modelling, carbon savings, and energy calculations
- Excellent communicator with experience presenting to senior stakeholders
