The Role

Club L London are one of the UK top fashion brands. Reporting into the Chief Technology Officer, we are looking for a talented Head Of Development to join our growing tech team. This role is based out of our Manchester HQ, with 1 day a week working from home.If you enjoy working in a fast paced environment, problem solving with talented colleagues then this is the ideal role for you.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage & grow thedevelopment team (Front-end & Back-end Developers)
  • Take ownership and oversight of existing integrations, working with the team on ongoing improvements
  • Guide the team on architecture, development & maintenance of future integrations
  • Work closely with the Data Team building big data systems & tools
  • Work closely with the CTO on team & project planning

More about you

Essential:

  • 6+ yearsof development experience (Fullstack: Node, HTML, CSS, JS)
  • 2+years experience of managing a team
  • Experience using a frontend dynamic template framework (Liquid, Vue, Handlebars or similar)
  • Experience working with an e-commerce brand
  • Previous experience with version control (Git or similar) andserverless environments (AWS or similar)
  • Knowledge of architecting resilient systems
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Good communication skills

Desirable:

  • Shopify experience
  • Qualification or demonstrable experience within Project Management
