Job Description

At Foresight AI, we are global leaders in AI optimisation of water networks. We build class-leading prediction models and geospatial visualisations.

We work with utilities in the UK and internationally, helping them better manage the delivery of water and wastewater services to millions of customers.

After years of university-led research and building our platform, we're going to market and looking for an exceptional operator to own the delivery to customers.

The Head of Delivery will own the end-to-end journey from pilot kick off to signed commercial contract. This is a senior, high autonomy role working closely with the CEO.

We're backed by one of Europe's leading VCs.

The Role

You will own the delivery of our customers' product experience.

That means running customer relationships day to day, compressing the time from pilot kick off to signed contract, and representing Foresight credibly in front of senior stakeholders at utilities.

You will not be writing code or building models, but you will be relaying product experience to the engineering and product teams. A water engineering background is not necessary but if you have it this will be useful in helping the product and engineering teams refine the user experience.

You will translate, challenge, and push delivery forward with the vision to see what will become a problem and unblock proactively. This is an executor role, not a strategist role. We need someone who closes loops, chases details, and makes things happen faster than they otherwise would. Making customers happy is your KPI.

  • Aligning stakeholder groups with warmth, professionalism, and promptess
  • Own the delivery lifecycle for each project from kick off through to commercial conversion
  • Build and maintain the commercial narrative inside each pilot: translating technical results into the language of value that customer champions need to justify spend internally
  • Run weekly and bi weekly customer check ins, capturing requirements, pre empting blockers, and keeping momentum when engagements go quiet
  • Produce the artefacts that convert pilots: ROI models, value memos, executive summaries, and relevant parts of the commercial proposals
  • Design and own the onboarding playbook, systematically reducing the time from contract signature to first delivered value
  • Coordinate across the software and data science functions to ensure pilots are delivered to the quality our customers are paying to see
  • Maintain the pilot and pipeline dashboard, giving the CEO and Board a clear, honest view of what's converting and what isn't
  • Own the chase: follow ups, stakeholder mapping, procurement navigation, and all the operational friction that sits between a good pilot and a signed contract
  • At least 6 years' experience in B2B technology delivery to large, asset operating businesses (water, energy, industrials, etc.)
  • Demonstrable track record of moving complex enterprise engagements from pilot or evaluation through to commercial contract
  • Sharp written communication (concise, accurate language is a core requirement)
  • Sufficient technical literacy to be able to understand our technology stack and approach (cloud based software, data driven prediction modelling, physical infrastructure optimisation)
  • Comfort operating with limited supervision, in a small business of less than 10 where the playbook is still being written
  • Strong commercial instincts: you understand how B2B procurement works, how utilities or similar regulated buyers make decisions, and how to construct a value case that survives internal scrutiny
  • Genuine hunger. This is an opportunity to redefine water infrastructure management at a global scale. We are looking for someone with the drive to deliver that alongside a highly motivated team.

£70k-75k base depending on experience with meaningful EMI stock options (see below)

Other Benefits
  • The chance to work on the world's biggest natural resource problem - water supply and availability
  • EMI (tax incentivised) stock options in a high growth tech company, sized to reflect the seniority and impact of the role
  • Private medical care
  • 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays in addition to a 2 week shutdown over Christmas that's excluded from your holiday allowance
  • Flexible structuring of your day
  • Support for training and professional development
  • An exceptional working culture that prioritises your well being from management level, across the business
Location

Fully remote, with team socials and quarterly meetups in Manchester. You can expect regular (once a month/every two months) travel to customer sites across the UK and conferences.

Start Date

As soon as you're available and subject to right to work and referencing
