Are you an experienced Head of Construction & Trade Services looking for your next contract, and available for a quick start.
We are seeking a Head of Construction to provide short-term management support across our Further Education provision.
The successful candidate will provide leadership and oversight across a broad range of construction curriculum areas, potentially including:
- Construction
- Multi-Trade
- Brickwork
- Painting & Decorating
- Plumbing & Gas
- Other associated construction curriculum areas
- Lead and manage the Construction curriculum across 2 colleges
- Provide effective leadership and support to curriculum staff.
- Oversee the day-to-day management and delivery of the curriculum.
- Ensure high standards of teaching, learning, student experience and outcomes.
- Monitor curriculum performance and support improvement activity where required.
- Manage curriculum resources, staffing and operational requirements.
- Work collaboratively with senior leaders and curriculum teams to ensure effective provision.
- Ensure compliance with relevant FE, safeguarding, health & safety and quality requirements.
We are looking for someone with:
- Significant management experience within Further Education.
- Experience leading a curriculum department or broad curriculum area.
- Strong knowledge of Construction and/or related vocational provision.
- Experience of curriculum planning, quality assurance and performance management.
- Available for quick start
