Job Description

We are looking for a Head of Commercial to lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives that drive revenue and growth within the private sector. In this role, you will work closely with senior leadership, shaping solutions that deliver genuine value to our clients and firmly establish our position in the market.

You will be responsible for building and nurturing high-impact relationships with enterprise clients and industry partners, acting as a key ambassador for ADSP. Your work will directly influence our commercial strategy and drive the success of both client deliverables and wider business objectives.

We are looking for someone with a collaborative and results-oriented approach, capable of identifying new opportunities and leading the design and delivery of commercially focused strategies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Define and execute a comprehensive Agentic AI strategy that aligns with company goals
  • Analyse market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging AI technologies to identify new business opportunities
  • Drive the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation to negotiation and closing in high value enterprise deals
  • Establish an account planning and development capability to renew, upsell and cross-sell existing client relationships
  • Translate company revenue targets into sales goals and KPIs, continually assessing and refining strategies based on performance and market dynamics
  • Create accurate forecasts, pipelines, and reports, tracking all activities, opportunities, and revenue metrics
  • Provide strategic input into pricing models, ensuring competitiveness while optimising profitability
  • Identify, target, and secure high-value clients in key industries
  • Establish relationships with decision-makers within target organisations, showcasing the value of our AI solutions
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their Agentic AI needs, presenting tailored solutions, and ensuring long-term partnerships
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and in the media, establishing our brand as a thought leader in Agentic AI
  • Collaborate with marketing, data science and engineering teams to develop compelling content, case studies, and presentations that highlight our expertise
  • Work closely with the project delivery team to ensure seamless client onboarding
  • Develop customised proposals, presentations, and solutions for prospective enterprise clients
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing business development team
  • Foster a collaborative, innovative, and results-driven culture, setting a strong example for the team
REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Proven success as a commercial leader, owning £5M+ annual sales in RPA or Agentic AI
  • Demonstrated experience driving the entire sales process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing for complex, enterprise deals
  • Proven experience of developing and maintaining relationships at senior business sponsor, budget owner and decision maker levels
  • Track record of achieving ambitious revenue targets, including establishing KPIs and adapting strategies to meet them
  • Experience in revenue planning, P&L management, and strategic input on pricing models
  • Experience of recruiting, mentoring, and managing a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture
  • In depth knowledge of RPA and Agentic AI solutions within complex business operations
  • Strong understanding of strategic planning, market analysis and sales forecasting
  • Ability to define and implement a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with company goals and industry dynamics
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop customised presentations, proposals, and pitches that effectively communicate Agentic AI solutions
  • Ability to analyse market data, create accurate forecasts, and generate detailed reports on pipeline activities and revenue metrics
  • Ability to collaborate with marketing, data science, engineering, and project delivery teams to ensure cohesive and high-quality service
  • Strong ability to innovate, adapt to market dynamics, and refine business strategies based on performance data and evolving trends
