The Head of Business Observability for the UK ADM Practice (Application Development & Maintenance) will play a crucial role in establishing a Business Observability practice in the UK as a vehicle to transform Managed Services for Capgemini UK clients. The role will:
- Work with UK ADM (Application Development & Maintenance) engagements & Market Units in positioning Business Observability with as part of our Managed Service Offer.
- Engage with leaders on accounts to develop a customized proposition on business observability for their clients.
- Bring coaching to Engagement Managers to improve Service Delivery in bringing better alignment to their clients' business and drive business performance improvements. The role will also focus on coaching existing client service delivery teams to deploy and run such solutions.
- Liaise & coordinate with skills and capability groups in Capgemini across UK & India to deliver quality teams to Engagements.
- Engage with key partners in the market to ensure a clear alignment of strategy and execution and create joint GTM plans with some.
The individual will need to demonstrate a strong business understanding of how such solutions can provide the visibility to improvements in service delivery and the impact they have on business performance.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including:

- Exploiting the global Business Insightful Services offer, develop Industry specific POVs and hotspots for Business Observability
- Create Show and Tell Assets that demonstrate value and impact of Business Observability
- Work with Market Units in the UK and define a business plan for Business Observability, jointly identifying target accounts for Business observability
- Develop industry specific offer packs that align the proposition to industry specific challenges
- Establish Business Observability in target accounts by working with EMs and Client Partners and take the lead in demonstrating to their clients on the value of Business Observability
- Provide guidance to ADM (Application Development & Maintenance) Service delivery teams and ensure successful deployments of Business Observability Solutions
- Work with leading players in the observability space - currently Cisco/Splunk, Dynatrace, Elastic and Datadog and identify target accounts with each as needed
- Develop joint solutions with these partners & develop a GTM plan for solutions so developed
- Identify and develop capability plan identifying core skills needed and a corresponding training plan
- Develop training plan with each partner for respective observability suites
- Work with Head of UK ADM (Application Development & Maintenance) capabilities in identifying and developing local talent needed to support engagements

Your skills and experience- Business & Technical Expertise - Knowledge across both business and technical expertise with specialisation in specific Industry sectors.

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
