You'll ensure complex programmes are delivered at pace, aligned to our business strategy, and embedded in a way that delivers lasting value. This is a role for someone who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, while bringing people with them on the journey. What you'll be doing Setting a clear vision and ambition for change, including identifying future transformation opportunities Owning and overseeing a portfolio of strategic change programmes, managing priorities, interdependencies and risks Ensuring change initiatives are well planned, well governed and delivered to agreed outcomes, timeframes and quality standards Managing budgets responsibly, identifying efficiencies and ensuring strong financial control Building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across the business and with external partners Leading, coaching and developing high-performing change delivery teams, creating an inclusive and high-engagement culture Proactively identifying and managing risks and issues to protect delivery and outcomes Making sure change is embedded successfully, with quality, best practice and benefits realisation at the heart of delivery How you'll make an impact Working collaboratively across functions to deliver meaningful change Building business and technology capabilities that are relevant for the future Supporting safe, accessible and inclusive systems for all users Ensuring change initiatives deliver real value for our customers, colleagues and communities What we're looking for Strong strategic and financial acumen, with experience translating strategy into delivery Proven experience leading complex change portfolios, ideally within business and technology environments Experience working with Agile delivery and Lean Portfolio Management (LPM), with a relevant qualification desirable but not essential A people-centred leadership style, with a track record of developing and motivating diverse teams Excellent communication and influencing skills, with confidence working at senior levels Commercial awareness, including experience managing external suppliers and partners Inclusion & belonging at Stagecoach We're committed to building a workplace where everyone feels they belong and can do their best work.
