Head of AI - Director/Senior Director - Biotechnology

• Hybrid - 3 days onsite just south of Cambridge
• Genomics

La Fosse have partnered with a cutting-edge genomics start up based near Cambridge who are looking to hire a Head of AI to own and lead their AI roadmap and division.

This company has a fantastic foundation, fully backed by an industry leading VC firm and the co founders are renowned in their domains.

With partnerships already secured by major pharma businesses, this start up is on an exciting trajectory and will certainly be one to watch over the next 5 years.

What I'm looking for:

• Deep AI expertise as your priority skillset. This is a broad role across AI so bringing expertise in some of these areas will be required: Computer Vision, LLMs, Imaging, Sequencing, AI/ML etc.
• Credible in life science - you have ideally worked in a drug discovery environment. Any exposure to Genomics is beneficial as well.
• You are a pragmatic and collaborative leader with the ability to work with stakeholders as well as managing teams.
• You are able to be very innovative across AI from a strategic perspective.
• Credible hands on technically - although this will not be your day to day responsibility.
