Overview

As Head Housekeeper, you'll lead all daily and weekly cleaning routines for the Housekeeping Team at Hamilton Springs care home. Your work ensures a clean, welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute cleaning schedules with your team, covering dusting, mopping, polishing and vacuuming.
• Supervise all areas, including residents' rooms, lounges, kitchens, bathrooms, and offices.
• Build trust and promote choice, dignity, and independence among residents.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness in all tasks, from hoovering bedrooms to polishing photo frames.

Qualifications

• Good standard of education (e.g., GCSEs in English and Maths) is desirable.
• Prior supervisory experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a passion for maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Can do attitude, positive mindset, and ability to work collaboratively as a team player.
