As we continue to grow and evolve, we're looking for a Head Chocolatier to join our team in Harry Lowe's chocolate shop on a permanent contract.

About the Role:

In this role, you will craft exceptional chocolates and seasonal collections for Harry Lowe's and Adare Manor. You'll create, finish, and beautifully present a range of luxury chocolate products while maintaining the highest standards of quality, food safety, and shop presentation. Working closely with our pastry, culinary, and retail teams, you'll contribute to new flavour development, support bespoke creations for special occasions, and ensure a five star guest and retail experience.

You will have previous experience in a chocolate shop/lab as well as experience working in a large team members.

You will be asked to demonstrate your skills and abilities such as;

• hand-dipped chocolates
• chocolate ganache formulation and knowledge of shelf life
• chocolate sculptures and amenities for specific seasons (Easter, Christmas, Valentines etc )
• chocolate hand tempering in small and big batches
• chocolate shelling
• cocoa butter spraying and tempering
• making piping ganache or dipped ganache slabs
• other retail products to further develop within 2026

In our Resort, we have a dedicated Chocolate Room & Chocolate shop with the latest equipment such as three Selmi tempering units, two tabletop tempering units and chocolate fridges.

You enjoy working with precision, care deeply about consistency, and have a natural flair for flavour development and visual design.

You're organised, clean, and calm under pressure, with the ability to adapt during busy seasons while keeping quality at five star level. You work well with others, communicate professionally, and bring a positive, collaborative energy to the pastry, culinary, and retail teams.
