Job Description
HCML Coordinator Remote Working Admin Functions Fixed Term Contract till end of 2026 Full-Time £25,545 per annum 37.5 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the dynamic and fast paced Physiotherapy service, who are looking for someone to join them as a HCML Coordinator. Working closely with the physiotherapist, HCML and senior management, the successful candidate will quickly become a crucial part of the daily running of the Nuffield Health HCML pathway.

Responsibilities
  • Booking patients into their initial physiotherapy appointment.
  • Identifying, and correcting potential IT issues before they occur, or where not possible fixing the problem in retrospect.
  • Running the HCML portal, setting up new physios on the portal or escalating issues with the portal to management and HCML.
  • Processing invoices.
  • Managing, organising, and updating relevant data using database applications.
  • Expertly handling all contact with our patients via several channels: inbound and outbound calls, and emails.
  • Ensuring the customer journey is seamless throughout.
  • Promoting a positive image of Nuffield Health through effective communication and responsive action with both internal and external contacts (existing customers/suppliers/general enquiries).
  • Appropriately escalating any patient or complaint issues to management.
  • Communicate using appropriate channels to provide information; share knowledge; keep colleagues informed of progress and to respond to enquiries within your remit.
  • Adhere to Data Protection principles, as well as ensuring all information (whether patient or organisation specific) is treated sensitively and confidentially.
  • Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety, and quality management.
  • Take responsibility for own personal development through regular 1:1's meetings and yearly appraisal process.
  • The role holder will be expected to perform any other duties that may reasonably be asked of them.
  • The role holder will need to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels across the divisions.
Skills, Qualification and Experience
  • Previous experience as an Administrator/ Coordinator within the UK Healthcare market (desirable).
  • Competent IT user with strong skills particularly in Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to learn new database systems quickly and accurately.
  • Professional and confident with excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and deal with varied workload under the pressure of multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
