Job Description
Job Summary

Workday HCM Lead reporting to the ERP Lead. Location: London.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the configuration, optimisation, and support of Workday HCM modules, including Core HCM, Compensation, Absence, Recruitment, and Performance.
  • Ensure compliance and standardisation of job profiles, job families, and management levels within Workday, following MiQ architecture principles.
  • Oversee business processes for position management (creation, editing, freezing, closing), hiring, compensation changes, job changes, terminations, and delegations.
  • Manage and troubleshoot business processes, ensuring correct approvals, security roles, and escalation of issues to HR Admin/IT as needed.
  • Partner with Finance to manage compensation grades, benchmarks, and salary banding, ensuring integration with payroll (e.g., ADP for employees).
  • Oversee data integrity and support accurate reporting and analytics, ensuring visibility into headcount, workforce planning, and process status at all times.
  • Govern system security and role assignment, ensuring the right level of access for HR and recruiting partners.
  • Drive HCM process improvements and collaborate with change management initiatives as part of ongoing Workday releases/phases, collaborating with global and local teams.
  • Liaise with external consultants (e.g., CloudRock) and integration partners to upgrade and enhance platform capabilities.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of prior experience implementing and managing Workday HCM.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Workday HCM configuration, administration, and process troubleshooting, especially in a multi country/global environment.
  • Deep understanding of job architecture: job profiles, job families, and compensation grades.
  • Experience leading HRIS, HR transformation, or technology driven change programs.
  • Practical training, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of developing end user support materials and guides.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in reporting, data validation, and workforce analytics.
  • Exposure to change management, process governance, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with integrations across payroll, recruitment, absence management, and learning modules.
