An opportunity is available for an experienced Harvest / Machinery Service Support Technician to join a well-established and growing agricultural dealership in the South of England. This is a hands on, technically focused position combining both workshop duties and on site support. You will be instrumental in keeping a wide range of harvesting, grassland, and application machinery operating at peak performance, particularly during busy seasonal periods. This role offers real variety and the chance to work with advanced machinery in a fast paced, customer focused environment.
Key Responsibilities- Service, maintain, and repair a variety of agricultural machinery
- Diagnose faults across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Support customers with technical issues both on site and remotely
- Prepare machinery ahead of the season and respond to in season breakdowns
- Work closely with the service team to ensure efficient workflow and high standards
- Accurately complete service reports and documentation
- Attend manufacturer training to develop product knowledge and technical skills
- Previous experience working with agricultural, plant, or similar machinery
- Strong fault finding and diagnostic ability
- Good understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems
- Self motivated with the ability to work independently
- Team player with a professional and customer focused approach
- Willingness to undertake ongoing training and development
- Experience with harvesting or application equipment (advantageous)
