Job Overview:A skilled Handy Person is required to support the Site Services team with a range of maintenance and repair tasks across the Loughborough Bishop Meadow Road site. This role involves general repairs, basic plumbing and electrical support, decorating, and exterior maintenance. It is a full-time, on-site position starting ASAP for one month.
* Location: Onsite - Loughborough, Bishop Meadow Road - LE11 5RE
* Daily Rate: £15.00 per hour
* Contract Length: 1 month
* Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out general repairs including patching walls, maintaining floors, fixing fences, and repairing fixtures and furniture.
* Support plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks and unclogging drains, and assist electricians with basic electrical work.
* Perform painting, decorating, and sealing tasks as required.
* Assemble furniture, install shelving, and complete basic carpentry repairs.
* Conduct exterior maintenance including gutter cleaning, jet washing, and light landscaping.
* Assist with internal office moves and reactive maintenance tasks.
* Ensure all work areas are cleaned after task completion and cooperate with supervisors to minimise disruption.
Key Requirements:
* Ability to use hand tools, battery tools, power tools, and step ladders safely.
* Must follow instructions from the Site Service Manager and work safely at all times.
* Experience performing a range of basic maintenance and repair tasks.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Must follow PPE requirements and site safety guidelines.
