H&S / EHS Consultant (Corporate Environments)

Location: London & South East (Hybrid with client site coverage)


Salary: £50,000-£55,000 + per annum + Car Allowance + Benefits


Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time


About the Role:

We are supporting a leading consultancy operating across major UK infrastructure, utilities, and corporate portfolios to appoint a Health & Safety Consultant to deliver high-quality compliance, assurance, and advisory services across client sites in London and the South East.


This is a client-facing role requiring a strong professional presence, technical credibility, and the ability to operate confidently within regulated, corporate, and construction-led environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Health & Safety consultancy services across infrastructure, construction, and corporate client sites

  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with UK H&S legislation and client standards

  • Prepare professional reports, improvement plans, and compliance documentation for senior stakeholders

  • Support clients with commercially aware H&S advice to operational and leadership teams

  • Build strong, long-term relationships with client stakeholders and delivery teams


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (Level 6)

  • CMIOSH / TechIOSH status

  • PIEMA / IEMA certification (Environmental or Sustainability focus preferred)

  • Proven experience delivering H&S services within construction, infrastructure, utilities, or corporate environments

  • Confident, professional, and credible in front of senior client stakeholders

  • Strong working knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and best practice


Desirable Experience:

  • Environmental compliance, sustainability, or ISO 14001 exposure

  • Experience supporting large, multi-site or framework-based client portfolios

  • Rail, utilities, energy, or major infrastructure project experience


Personal Profile:

  • Corporate-presentable, client-facing, and commercially aware

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working autonomously across multiple sites


Package:

  • £50,000 - £55,000 base salary (DOE)
