Guest Services Assistant

National Gallery Global is looking for a Guest Services Assistant to join our team and play a vital role in shaping how visitors experience the National Gallery before they even walk through our doors. This is a full time position, working 35 hours on a 7-day rota pattern.

As a key point of contact for guests, you will deliver a welcoming, inclusive and people-focused service across phone, email and digital channels. Acting as an ambassador for the Gallery, you'll ensure every interaction reflects our values. You'll respond to a wide range of enquiries, from general visitor information to more complex queries and complaint resolution. With empathy and care, you'll turn questions into positive experiences, helping every guest feel heard, supported and valued.

Alongside delivering outstanding service, you'll also contribute to income generation through the promotion and sale of Memberships, exhibition and event tickets, and other commercial products. With strong product knowledge and confidence in navigating systems, you'll provide accurate, timely and accessible information to all.

This is a hybrid role with a minimum of three days on-site working required.
