Job Description
At Soho House, the Driver/ Luggage Porter plays a vital role in creating a seamless and welcoming arrival and departure experience for our members and guests. You'll support the Front of House and Accommodation teams by assisting with luggage, guest requests, and the overall flow of arrivals and departures, ensuring every interaction reflects the Soho House ethos.

This is a hands-on, guest-facing role that requires a friendly attitude, attention to detail, and a proactive approach. You'll be a familiar face in the House, helping guests feel looked after from the moment they arrive.

  • Welcome guests and assist with luggage on arrival and departure
  • Escort guests to rooms and provide a warm introduction to the House when required
  • Support Front of House with guest requests and general assistance
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of luggage/ vehicle storage areas
  • Assist with deliveries, room moves, and internal requests as needed
  • Conduct regular checks of public areas, reporting any issues or hazards
  • Support other departments during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
  • Always represent Soho House standards, values, and service style
What we are looking for

A successful Driver/ Luggage Porter at Soho House will be friendly, reliable, and enjoy being part of a team that delivers thoughtful, first-class service. I deally you will have up to 2 years' experience in a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first class service.
  • Previous experience in a porter, hospitality, or guest-facing role is an advantage but not essential
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Ability to handle feedback to achieve member satisfaction
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
