Group Supply Chain ManagerLocation: UK (flexible / hybrid working available)Salary: £75,000 - £95,000 + car allowance + bonusThe OpportunityI am currently working with a leading infrastructure and utilities business to recruit a Group Supply Chain Manager to support and enhance their procurement function at a strategic level.This is a senior leadership role reporting into the Group Head of Procurement and Supply Chain, where you will play a key part in shaping procurement strategy, driving cost efficiencies, and leading a high-performing team across the business.If you are looking for a position where you can influence business-wide decisions, improve processes, and lead from the front in a growing organisation, this is a strong opportunity to make a real impact.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and procedures aligned to business objectivesLead and support a team of procurement professionals, driving performance and collaborationBuild strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliersOversee supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier performance managementDrive cost savings, efficiency improvements, and value across the supply chainMonitor market trends and identify opportunities for innovation and improvementLead strategic sourcing initiatives including supplier consolidation and global sourcingManage procurement budgets, forecasts, and financial performanceImplement systems and tools to improve procurement efficiency and data visibilityCollaborate with finance, operations, and legal teams to ensure compliance and integrationEstablish supplier performance frameworks, including audits and continuous improvement plansRequirementsProven experience in a senior procurement or supply chain roleStrong track record of developing and delivering procurement strategiesExperience managing and developing teamsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsStrong commercial awareness and negotiation capabilityAbility to analyse data and drive strategic decision-makingExperience working in a fast-paced, project or infrastructure-led environmentDesirableDegree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or similarProfessional accreditation such as CIPS (or working towards)Experience implementing procurement systems or digital toolsWhat's on OfferCar allowance or company vehicleBonus schemeHybrid and flexible working optionsOpportunity to influence procurement strategy at group levelLong-term career progression within a growing organisationTo ApplyIf you are interested in this opportunity, please apply or contact me directly for a confidential discussion.
