GROUP REPORTING MANAGER - TECH

Woking - 3 Days in the Office (Flexible) Permanent Established & Growing Business with Strong Progression Opportunities

£60,000 - £70,000 + Strong Package

We're hiring for a Group Reporting Manager to join a tech-focused business during a period of continued focus on reporting quality and process improvement.

This role is well suited to someone making their first move from practice into industry. You'll take on a Group reporting and consolidation-focused position, while also gaining exposure to FP&A activities, giving you a broader commercial view alongside your core technical responsibilities.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll be at the centre of Group Finance-owning key reporting cycles, improving processes, and contributing to both internal and external reporting.

You'll be part of a sizeable finance function with clear opportunities to progress internally over time, whether into a more senior Group Finance position or a commercially focused finance role.

WISH LIST

  • Practice-trained accountant with exposure to Group reporting or consolidations.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on improving processes.
  • Motivated to make the move into industry and broaden experience beyond statutory reporting.
  • Keen to develop both technically and commercially within a growing finance function.

THE ROLE

  • Own the Group consolidation process and drive continuous improvements.
  • Prepare key components of half-year and year-end Group reporting.
  • Manage the Group reporting timetable across key reporting cycles.
  • Coordinate the preparation and submission of statutory accounts across multiple entities.
  • Work closely with senior finance leadership and key stakeholders across the business.
  • Support Head Office cost centre reporting and analysis.
  • Gain exposure to FP&A activities, including budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
  • Drive improvements to reporting processes, controls and efficiencies.
  • Liaise with external auditors and support the annual audit process.
  • Build strong relationships across Finance and the wider business.
  • Support a range of ad hoc Group Finance projects.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CA).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Practice background with exposure to Group reporting, consolidations or complex clients.
  • Looking to build commercial finance and FP&A experience alongside technical reporting.

SALARY & BENEFITS

  • £60,000 - £70,000 + strong package.
  • Hybrid working - 3 days per week in the office with flexibility.
  • Permanent position.
  • Flexible start and finish times.
  • Excellent career progression within Group Finance and the wider finance function.
