Group Marketing Communications Manager


Location: Dublin City Centre


Salary: €86,300 - €101,600 per annum (depending on experience)


Contract: 16 Month Maternity Leave position

A well-established utilities organisation based in Dublin city centre is seeking to appoint a Group Marketing Communications Manager to join its senior marketing leadership team.


This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing leader to shape and deliver high-impact, insight-led communications across multiple channels in a dynamic and regulated environment. The successful candidate will lead integrated marketing communications strategies, oversee major campaigns and media activity, manage agency partnerships and play a key role in the continued development of a best-in class marketing function.


The role also includes leadership responsibility for a talented multidisciplinary marketing team, with a strong focus on creativity, effectiveness, customer engagement and commercial performance.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the centralised marketing communications function across multiple business units.

  • Develop and deliver integrated communication strategies across mass media, digital and direct channels.

  • Drive creative and media strategies that strengthen brand engagement and commercial performance.

  • Embed marketing effectiveness, customer insight and campaign measurement into decision making.

  • Manage significant marketing budgets, agency relationships, governance processes and audits.

  • Lead, mentor and develop a high performing team of marketing professionals.

  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across brand, media, product and compliance functions.

  • Support the ongoing evolution of a modern, insight led marketing function within a complex regulated environment.


Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in marketing communications, including at least five years in a senior leadership role.

  • Experience working within complex or regulated industries.

  • Proven track record delivering impactful integrated advertising campaigns.

  • Strong leadership experience managing multidisciplinary marketing teams.

  • Expertise across creative development, media strategy and digital marketing.

  • Strong commercial awareness, stakeholder management and budget management skills.

  • Relevant third level qualification in Marketing, Business or a related discipline.

  • Excellent communication, strategic planning and people management capabilities.
