Located in the heart of Mayfair, London Hilton on Park Lane was the first Hilton in the UK and is close to all that London has to offer. Soaring above Park Lane, the hotel is renowned for its five-star luxury. It features 453 guest rooms, including 56 suites and a Presidential Suite.

In 2023, the hotel celebrated its 60th anniversary, with refurbishments of Executive rooms and suites, and a re-development of the lobby level, including a new restaurant and bar.

Salary: £43,680 per annum plus Bonus

What will I be doing?

As Group, Conference, and Events (GCE) Planning Manager, you will oversee the planning of large programmes. You will interact with customers and guests to understand their needs and develop relationships to encourage repeat and expanded business. Your responsibilities include:

  • Maximising revenue opportunities for GCE
  • Reviewing business plans, identifying gaps, and proactively filling capacity to meet targets
  • Contributing to the hotel's selling strategy and ensuring departmental adherence
  • Understanding the competitive landscape and implementing strategies to stay ahead
  • Conducting weekly checks of bookings and audits
  • Developing the GCE Sales Team in relationship building, customer service, selling techniques, and contract processing
  • Managing and developing the team for career progression and succession planning
  • Organising hotel promotional activities
  • Conducting exit meetings/interviews post-events

What are we looking for?

A GCE Planning Manager at Hilton should embody the following attitudes, behaviors, skills, and values:

  • Previous managerial or supervisory experience in Reservations or Conference & Events Sales in the hotel/leisure sector
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate and manage teams to exceed targets

  • Ability to work under pressure

Preferred additional capabilities include:
