Role Summary:

The Group Commercial Controller supports ERIKS' strategic commercial operations with sharp financial acumen and a commercial prowess that spans across countries and central functions. You will serve as a lynchpin, providing robust support to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), driving our global teams toward excellence with precision and insight. In this role, you'll be the maestro of commercial harmony, ensuring the standardization of reporting and a profound grasp of the metrics that drive our business. This position is about more than numbers; it's about shaping the narrative of our commercial success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Craft and refine commercial dashboards in collaboration with global Commercial, Product and Finance communities; highlighting sales, margins, and pivotal customer KPIs.
• Collaborate with European Marketing to bolster commercial activities, meeting targets, and measuring marketing effectiveness.
• Champion the creation of organic sales growth strategies, fostering new business opportunities and acting as a thought leader with regards to e-commerce strategy.
• Work alongside the Pricing community in the deployment of pricing strategies, offering insights into their effectiveness and establishing measurable KPIs.
• Oversee cost management across the international commercial teams, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a dotted line to the CCO, ensuring diligent reporting and forecasting
• Support the FP&A team in setting ambitious goals, forecasting future trends, and crafting strategic plans that bolster our top-line growth and profit margins.
• Contribute significantly to management reports that narrate our journey in expanding profit margins and pioneering commercial initiatives.
• Undertake bespoke commercial analyses and reviews, providing critical insights that inform our strategic decisions.

Your Profile:

• A minimum of 10 years in a business finance role with demonstrated proficiency in financial management, strategic planning, and analytics.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts and leading cross-functional teams.
• Commitment to excellence, accountability, and a forward-thinking mindset.
• Strong financial acumen and experience in financial policy development and compliance management.
• An excellent command of English, both verbal and written, and ideally proficiency in an additional European language such as Dutch, German, or French.
• Inquisitive mind, prepared to challenge the status quo and willing to invest time into understanding the business context.
• Comfortable in holding senior stakeholders accountable to their targets.
• Based in the Netherlands and authorized to work here without requiring visa sponsorship.
• Willingness to travel (estimated at 15%).
