Job Description
Groundsperson - Kildare - €40,000 - €45,000 The Job:

You will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of a high quality estate, ensuring all grounds are maintained to an excellent standard while supporting wider estate operations. This includes operating machinery, carrying out landscaping duties and assisting with general estate and forestry work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain agricultural machinery including tractors and JCB equipment, ensuring safe and effective use at all times.
  • Carry out general estate maintenance, including lawn care, hedge cutting, grass cutting, strimming and upkeep of landscaped areas.
  • Support woodland and forestry maintenance alongside wider estate duties as required.
  • Maintain high standards across all areas of the estate while adhering to health and safety practices.
Candidate:
  • Proven experience in grounds maintenance, agriculture, or estate work, with strong practical landscaping skills.
  • Competent in operating tractors and JCB machinery, with a good understanding of health and safety.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and flexible approach.
  • Hardworking, reliable, and detail-focused, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Desirable: Chainsaw certification, experience in woodland/forestry work, or background on estates or farms.
