Join Our Team as a skilled and experienced Grounds Maintenance Team Leader

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location(s): Birmingham, Reddich, Bromsgrove and surrounding areas

Are you an experienced landscaper with a passion for leadership? We're looking for a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to guide a team of 12 operatives and deliver top-tier grounds maintenance across commercial and domestic settings. Your role will involve managing all aspects of landscaping, from grass cutting to tree maintenance, while ensuring exceptional customer service and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a team of landscape operatives.
  • Oversee all aspects of grounds maintenance, including grass cutting, hedge trimming, weed treatment, and tree care.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and safety.

Experience Required:

  • Demonstrable experience in landscaping or a leadership role in grounds maintenance.
  • BTEC Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Horticulture or equivalent.
  • NPTC qualifications for using and maintaining landscaping equipment (brush cutters, mowers, hedge cutters) and pesticide spraying.
  • Proven leadership abilities and experience managing teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and customer-focused attitude.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and IT skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams).
  • Full UK driving licence and flexible working attitude.
