Description
- Conduct grievance investigations involving complex cases such as bullying, harassment, discrimination, and potential tribunal preparation
- Engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels, including senior staff and union representatives, to ensure a fair and impartial process
- Manage challenging conversations and confrontational situations professionally
- Prepare detailed reports, maintain accurate records, and ensure confidentiality at all times
- Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on grievance policies and best practices
- Identify trends and recommend improvements to workplace practices and policies
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations
- Collaborate with the Human Resources team to support a positive and inclusive workplace environment
Profile
A successful Grievance Assessor should have:
- Professional experience within Human Resources or a related field in the Public Sector.
- Strong knowledge of grievance handling processes and workplace policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage sensitive situations effectively.
- Ability to analyse information and provide clear, evidence-based recommendations.
- A commitment to fairness, confidentiality, and compliance with employment laws.
- Proficiency in record-keeping and report writing.
- Experience working in a large organisation or similar environment.
Job Offer
- Competitive daily rate £337.00 PAYE or £440.00 UMBRELLA paid in GBP.
