Graphic/Interaction Designer

Graphic/Interaction Designer required to join a global brand, offering a remote based contract + exceptional rates.

You must have strong Public Sector and Government Digital Service (GDS) experience to help design accessible, user-centred digital services at scale.

Clearance Required: Active SC ( Must have)

You will be required to:

Create usable, accessible, and responsive user interfaces using strong visual and interaction design principles
Lead design work across services, from early concepts to high-fidelity prototypes
Sketch, explore concepts, and build prototypes at varying levels of fidelity, including coded prototypes using the GOV.UK Prototyping Kit
Understand and work within technical constraints, collaborating closely with developers and system designers
Interpret user research and user needs to inform design decisions, and contribute to research activities
Run workshops, facilitate design discussions, and co-create solutions with multidisciplinary teams
Collaborate with colleagues across policy, product, delivery, operations, systems, and UCD
Coach and mentor other interaction designers, providing constructive feedback and helping grow capability
Advocate for user-centred and inclusive design practices across the organisation
Communicate design decisions clearly and confidently to a range of stakeholders
Support the development of service strategies and transformation roadmaps
