Graphic Designer - Inside IR35 - Hybrid - Edinburgh/Glasgow
Market Rates
Duration - 3 months
Harvey Nash's Public Sector Client are looking to bring in a contract Graphic Designer to join their growing team.
Experience Required
- High level of graphic design skills, including image creation and manipulation, page layout, knowledge of colour theory, visual hierarchy and use of typography.
- Experience of communicating with stakeholders and audiences at every level.
- Experience in a graphic design role
- Experience of print management
- Advice/problem solving experience
- Significant experience in the design, delivery and on-going management of E-learning and electronic services and systems eg, E-learning, information management, learning management. line management role including coaching and/or mentoring of team members.
- Experience of working flexibly in complex, changing and sensitive environments where the parameters of the job are not necessarily clearly defined Specific skills, knowledge, and training
- Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Knowledge of Adobe After Effects and animation processes
- Knowledge of print procurement processes
- Knowledge of accessible design principles.
- Understanding of E-learning design
- Understanding of adaptive/responsive design for a range of devices.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision andto meet deadlines
- Ability in planning, organising and prioritising work effectively
- Strong working knowledge of standard Microsoft packages (eg, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as confidence using MS Teams, MS Project and SharePoint
- Advanced keyboard skills with proven speed and accuracy
- Ability to confidently facilitate team meetings online.
- Understanding of the need for accuracy and Attention to detail
- Ability to plan workload for team, ensuring that all work is completed within the required timeframe whilst maintain high standards and providing exceptional levels of customer service
- Highly developed customer service skills, with a helpful, flexible attitude
Desirable Experience
- Experience of CMS design, eg, Umbraco
- Strong understanding of the application of GDPR to the storage and use of participant information and data privacy
- Ability to collate and produce reports and statistical information
- An understanding of the wider combined health and social care system
- Knowledge of NHS Scotland and NHSS Boards and structure
