Graphic Designer

Our client, a leading investment manager, is looking to recruit an experienced designer. The role sits in their global marketing team in London and the contract will be for 12 months initially.

Key responsibilities:

1. Provide aesthetically pleasing concepts and designs that meet corporate design practices and brand identity standards
2. Collaboratively brainstorm creative ideas with the wider team
3. Production of formatted publications and other templated documents
4. Execution of new designs to a high professional standard
5. Work directly with vendors to determine best solutions, to obtain estimates, negotiate costs, and supervise projects.

Candidate Profile:

1. 5 plus years of experience in designing projects from concept through to completion
2. Strong aesthetic sensibility for clean, sophisticated design and keen eye for image selection.
3. Able to present a range of creative ideas that address project objectives with solid design rationale, whilst keeping on brand
4. Advanced Adobe Creative Suite knowledge (InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop, Acrobat)
5. Financial Services background preferred
6. Comfortable designing for multiple mediums and continuous curiosity to learn (print, email, web, video)
7. Experience collaborating with writers and providing feedback and direction to external agency partners
