What Will You Be Doing?

Unlike a traditional Teaching Assistant role, this position will give you the opportunity to develop real classroom teaching experience.

Initially, you will observe outstanding practitioners, support lessons and learn the school's curriculum, behaviour systems and teaching strategies.

As your confidence develops, you will begin to plan and deliver lessons, lead classes, provide intervention sessions and take greater responsibility for pupil progress.

• Delivering pre-planned lessons
• Planning your own engaging lessons
• Leading small-group academic interventions
• Supporting GCSE preparation
• Providing subject specific tuition
• Managing classroom behaviour
• Assessing pupil progress
• Working alongside experienced Heads of Department
• Participating in school CPD and teacher development

Who Are KPI Education Looking For?

We are particularly interested in graduates with strong academic backgrounds in: Maths Physics Chemistry Biology English History Geography Languages Computer Science Economics Psychology

You should ideally have a 2:1 or First-Class degree from a strong UK university and be able to demonstrate a genuine commitment to becoming an outstanding educator. Previous school experience is advantageous but not essential. Academic ability, communication skills, resilience and genuine enthusiasm for working with young people are equally important.
