Location: Sunderland, Tyne and Wear
Salary: £90 - £110 per day
Contract: Full Time, Temporary to Permanent

GSL Education are currently recruiting a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Sunderland. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate looking to gain hands on classroom experience and take the first step towards a rewarding career in education.

Job Summary

• Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons across the curriculum.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to help pupils reach their learning goals.
• Assist with classroom management and behaviour support.
• Contribute to the planning and delivery of learning activities.
• Encourage and motivate pupils to participate and achieve their best.

Requirements

• A degree in any subject (2:2 or above).
• Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for working with children and young people.
• Previous experience in education, tutoring, or mentoring is desirable but not essential.
• An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
