About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Sustainability Consultant to join our client's growing Sustainability team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate with a passion for sustainable building design and performance, particularly within the framework of BREEAM certification.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination and delivery of BREEAM assessments from pre-assessment to post-construction stages.
- Liaise with design teams, contractors, and clients to gather evidence and ensure sustainability targets are met.
- Support in the preparation of BREEAM documentation, reports, and submissions to BRE.
- Stay up to date with changes in environmental legislation and BREEAM requirements.
- Conduct sustainability research and contribute to environmental impact strategies.
- Participate in site visits and meetings to monitor and advise on sustainability compliance.
- Work collaboratively with other sustainability disciplines such as energy modelling, embodied carbon analysis, and circular economy principles.
Requirements:
- A degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong interest or academic background in sustainable construction and environmental assessment methodologies.
- Familiarity with BREEAM or similar sustainability assessment frameworks (e.g., LEED, WELL, HQM).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
