Job Description

Planit, a place-based design practice, is seeking a Graduate Landscape Architect to join our team in London.

The London studio is in a historic wharf-side building on the Wenlock Basin, a spur of the Regent's Canal, near Angel. We have a secondary breakout, design and meeting space on the water's edge. Our projects are regional, though predominantly London city-based, and we rise to the challenge of creating relevant places which exceed the needs of their intended purpose.

We are currently working on a range of projects across different scales and sectors. The new neighbourhood at Sugar House Island in east London is continuing to grow with a new riverside park currently on our drawing board along with the latest residential and commercial phases. We're working on a number of projects in Greenwich including Morden Wharf, a mixed use regeneration project on the bank of the Thames alongside projects in other London broughs including Islington, Hackney, Barnet, Merton, Croydon, Uxbridge and many more! Alongside our work in London we also have a number of other large scale projects in Cambridgeshire, Milton Keynes, Hove and Winchester.

You'll be working on career defining projects that help shape the future of the city and wider region for future generations.

To qualify for this position, you should possess a post-graduate qualification in Landscape Architecture and some experience working in landscape design would be an advantage, though not essential. You should enjoy working as a team and in a collaborative studio environment, be self-motivated, engaged and creative.

We are an Employee-Owned business, committed to standing alongside clients, communities, and nature to shape meaningful places and explore regenerative futures. As one of the first B Corps of our type in the world, we prioritise people, planet, and profit equally, and welcome candidates who share these values.

We are an inclusive workplace that values diversity, and welcome applicants from all backgrounds.

We support our team by providing benefits that include a minimum of 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, flexible start and finish times, hybrid and flexible working, company pension, enhanced maternity and paternity pay, support with professional fees, CPD, and an annual study trip allowance. There are opportunities to work and collaborate across our UK wide studios.

Salary: £26,000 - £30,000, according to level of experience.

Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK. If you require sponsorship, please check your eligibility against the relevant criteria on the UK Government website before submitting your application.

No agencies please.
