Build Your Career in Financial Consultancy
We are looking for an ambitious graduate to join our London team as a Graduate Financial Consultant.
This opportunity is designed for someone who wants to turn their academic knowledge into practical commercial experience while developing a career across financial analysis, business finance and consultancy.
Rather than being limited to one narrow area of finance, you will gain exposure to different businesses, sectors and financial scenarios. You will work alongside experienced professionals, developing the analytical and commercial skills required to understand a client's financial position and support the development of appropriate business finance solutions.
You are not expected to arrive knowing everything. We are looking for strong potential, commercial awareness and someone prepared to continuously develop their professional knowledge.
What You'll Be Doing
Your responsibilities will develop as you progress through the graduate programme and may include:
- Reviewing company accounts, management information and other financial documentation.
- Assessing the financial position and commercial requirements of businesses.
- Supporting consultants with client fact-finding and financial assessments.
- Researching commercial finance products, lenders and potential funding routes.
- Preparing financial summaries, reports and internal recommendations.
- Comparing commercial funding structures, costs and repayment considerations.
- Assisting with the preparation of business finance applications.
- Communicating with clients to obtain supporting financial and business information.
- Working with senior consultants on more complex commercial cases.
- Maintaining accurate client and case records.
- Developing an understanding of risk, affordability and commercial decision-making.
- Keeping your knowledge current through structured training and continuing professional development.
- Gradually taking responsibility for your own portfolio of commercial clients as your experience develops.

Previous professional financial-services experience is not essential. Internship, placement, customer-facing, banking, accounting or business experience would be advantageous.
