Graduate Building Physics Consultant (IES Modelling)

Location: Brighton
Salary: £26,000+

About the Role

We're working with a well-established building services consultancy that specialises in Mechanical and Electrical design, with a strong focus on reducing carbon emissions across both new developments and existing buildings.

With a proven track record delivering projects up to £60M in value, they are known for combining technical excellence with innovative, sustainable design.

They are now looking to bring in a Graduate IES Modeller to join their Brighton office-an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to begin their career within a forward-thinking and supportive team.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Support energy modelling and simulation work using IES software
  • Work alongside experienced engineers and consultants on live projects
  • Assist in developing sustainable building services design solutions
  • Contribute to technical reports, calculations, and project documentation
  • Play a part in improving building performance and reducing carbon impact
  • Participate in team discussions and share ideas to enhance project delivery
What We're Looking For
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline
  • Exposure to IES software (academic or placement experience)
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem solving ability
  • Good communication skills and a team oriented mindset
  • A genuine interest in sustainability and low carbon design
