We're working with welcoming secondary schools across Wolverhampton looking for enthusiastic Graduate Cover Supervisors to join them ASAP on a long term, full time basis.
This is an ideal opportunity for graduates considering a future in teaching, educational psychology, youth work, SEND, or pastoral support. You'll gain hands on classroom experience, develop confidence leading lessons, and build skills that genuinely set you apart for future careers in education.
And yes, you'll quickly learn that Year 9 can spot uncertainty faster than a Wi Fi outage. Don't worry though, supportive schools and consultants have got your back.
The role:- Full time, long term Graduate Cover Supervisor opportunities across Wolverhampton
- ASAP starts available
- Supervising pre planned lessons across a range of secondary subjects
- Managing classroom behaviour and keeping students engaged with learning
- Supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Providing additional support throughout the school day where needed
- Building positive relationships with students and staff
- Has recently graduated or is completing a degree
- Is confident, adaptable, and approachable
- Can communicate clearly and lead a classroom professionally
- Has experience working with young people through tutoring, coaching, mentoring, camps, youth work, or similar, although this isn't essential
- Is interested in a future career within education
- Brings positive energy and resilience to school life
- Fantastic classroom experience before teacher training or further study
- Long-term, full-time stability

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
