Job Description:
We have opportunities in our Manchester office for Graduates with a keen interest in developing skills in civil & structural engineering to join our busy highways, bridges and infrastructure design team working on a variety of high-profile projects. Our projects range from major highways schemes to small junction improvement works for a variety of clients including Government bodies and private developers in both the Public and Private Sector.
Key Duties
- Undertake design for a wide variety of highways, bridges or infrastructure design projects
- Assist in design reviews and verification checks, as required
- Support in the delivery of major highway projects, bridges and utilities
- Assist in the contract administration of projects
- Provide technical assistance to the members of the Civil/structural Engineering team
- Liaise with clients, architects, contractors and stakeholders
Qualifications/Skills required:
- Minimum 2.1 degree in Civil Engineering (MEng, BEng, BSc)
- Previous technical / industry experience
- Experience in the use of Civil Engineering design software including AutoCad
- Commitment to achieving professional qualifications in engineering/chartered status
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated
- Suitability for security clearance
