Eligibility Criteria

Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition:

  • A recognised professional project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP) or another relevant Level 8 qualification in a related discipline.
  • Significant relevant project management or management experience, supported by substantial professional expertise that demonstrates equivalence to the above.
  • Managing complex projects across the full project lifecycle, including governance, planning, risk management, reporting and implementation.

Each candidate for and any person holding the office must be fully competent and capable of undertaking the duties attached to the office and be in a state of health such as would indicate a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service.
